Le présent document spécifie les caractéristiques des écrous bihexagonaux, à freinage interne, à filetage ISO M ou ISO MJ, en acier, cadmiés, lubrifiés MoS2, pour constructions aéronautiques. La norme européenne EN 3713 spécifie un écrou similaire à filetage ISO MJ. Le présent document recommande, chaque fois que l'interchangeabilité peut être conservée, l'utilisation préférentielle des écrous correspondants définis par EN 3713.
